Summary
CVE-2023-47488 is a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Combodo iTop version 3.1.0-2-11973. An attacker, who is locally present, can exploit this issue by injecting malicious scripts into the attrib_manager_id parameter in the General Information page and the id parameter in the contact page. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow the attacker to steal sensitive information from the affected system. This issue poses a significant risk, especially in environments where users may visit malicious websites, and should be addressed promptly by upgrading to a patched version of iTop.
