Summary

CVE-2023-47314 is a vulnerability affecting the Headwind MDM Web panel 5.22.1. It allows for cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks by exploiting the file upload function, which allows the uploading of APK and arbitrary files. Attackers can upload HTML files and share the download URL with victims. When victims open the download link, their browser will render the HTML file as a web page, executing any client-side code within it and enabling common XSS attacks. The vulnerability has a base severity rating of MEDIUM and requires low privileges and user interaction to exploit. The impact score is 2.7 out of 10, indicating a relatively low level of danger.
