Summary
CVE-2023-47223 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting versions 2.0 and below of the WP Map Plugins Basic Interactive World Map. An attacker can inject malicious scripts into the webpage by exploiting the admin authentication feature, posing a significant security risk. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the targeted user, potentially leading to unauthorized access or data exfiltration.
