Summary
CVE-2023-47217 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting OpenHarmony version 3.2.2 and older. This issue permits a local attacker to trigger a denial-of-service (DoS) condition through a buffer overflow. By strategically supplying malicious data, an adversary can manipulate vulnerable functions, leading to memory corruption and system instability. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability can result in severe performance degradation, temporarily disrupting the targeted system.
