Summary
CVE-2023-47168 is a vulnerability affecting Mattermost, an open-source collaboration platform. The issue arises due to Mattermost's failure to adequately verify redirect URL parameters. As a result, an attacker could manipulate a malicious URL, leading to an open redirect. This could potentially expose users to phishing attacks or unintended redirection to malicious websites when they click "Back to Mattermost" after entering an invalid custom URL scheme in the /oauth/{service}/mobile\_login interface.
