Summary

CVE-2023-47128 is a critical vulnerability affecting Piccolo, an object-relational mapping and query builder that supports asyncio. The vulnerability allows for SQL Injection through the handling of named transaction `savepoints` in all database implementations prior to version 1.1.1. While the likelihood of exposing the vulnerable parameter to users is low, if exploited, it could grant an attacker direct access to the database with the associated permissions. This could lead to unauthorized data access, modification of records, and potentially gaining control over the underlying server. The issue has been fixed in version 1.1.1.
