Summary

CVE-2023-47121 is a vulnerability that affects the Discourse platform for community discussion. The vulnerability is a server-side request forgery (SSRF) issue in versions prior to 3.1.3 of the stable branch and version 3.2.0.beta3 of the beta and tests-passed branches. The issue has been patched in these versions. As a workaround, users can disable the Embedding feature. The vulnerability poses a potential danger to organizations as it allows an attacker to make unauthorized requests on behalf of the server, potentially leading to information disclosure or further exploitation of internal systems.
