Summary
CVE-2023-47107 is a vulnerability affecting the PILOS open-source front-end for BigBlueButton servers. The issue lies in the password reset component, which constructs URLs using the request host header. An attacker could manipulate these URLs, potentially redirecting users to their servers and disclosing password reset tokens. This only impacts local user accounts and requires the password reset feature to be enabled. The vulnerability has been addressed in version 2.3.0 of PILOS.
