Summary
CVE-2023-47069 is a critical out-of-bounds read vulnerability affecting Adobe After Effects versions 24.0.2 and earlier, as well as 23.6 and earlier. This issue arises when the software fails to properly parse a maliciously crafted file, resulting in reading data beyond the allocated memory limit. An attacker who successfully exploits this vulnerability could execute code in the context of the current user. Importantly, the exploitation of this issue requires user interaction, meaning a victim must open the malicious file to be at risk.
