Summary

CVE-2023-47049 is an out-of-bounds read vulnerability affecting Adobe Audition versions 24.0 and earlier, as well as version 23.6.1 and earlier. This vulnerability occurs when parsing a crafted file and could lead to reading past the end of an allocated memory structure. Exploitation of this vulnerability requires user interaction, as the victim needs to open a malicious file. If successfully exploited, an attacker could execute code within the context of the current user. Affected products include eJ-ABX, lEMfZo, mMSMCC, eQLqsc, and trfa0z.
