Summary
CVE-2023-46857 is a vulnerability affecting Squidex versions prior to 7.9.0. It enables Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks through the Upload Assets feature. The root cause lies in an inadequate SVG inspection blacklist, allowing JavaScript code in the SRC attribute of an IFRAME element. An attacker must have authenticated access with the 'assets.create' permission to successfully execute XSS attacks.
