Summary

CVE-2023-46732 is a vulnerability affecting the XWiki Platform, a wiki platform used for building applications on top of it. The vulnerability is a reflected cross-site scripting (RXSS) issue that occurs when the 'rev' parameter in the content menu is not properly escaped. This allows an attacker to execute arbitrary actions on behalf of the user, including remote code execution, potentially compromising the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the entire XWiki installation. The vulnerability has been patched in versions 15.6 RC1, 15.5.1, and 14.10.14 of XWiki, and users are advised to upgrade or manually apply the patch (commit '04e325d57'). There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
