Summary
CVE-2023-46713 is a vulnerability affecting Fortinet FortiWeb versions 6.2.0 to 6.2.8, 6.3.0 to 6.3.23, 7.0.0 to 7.0.9, 7.2.0 to 7.2.5, and 7.4.0. An attacker can exploit this improper output neutralization issue in the logs to forge traffic data by crafting a malicious URL for the web application. This may lead to incorrect or misleading information in the logs, posing a threat to the security and integrity of network traffic. Fortinet urges users to update their FortiWeb software to the latest patched version to mitigate this risk.
