Summary

CVE-2023-46654 is a vulnerability affecting the Jenkins CloudBees CD Plugin version 1.1.32 and earlier. During the cleanup process of the 'CloudBees CD - Publish Artifact' post-build step, this plugin follows symbolic links to locations outside of the expected directory. An attacker who configures jobs can exploit this behavior to delete arbitrary files on the Jenkins controller file system. This issue poses a significant risk as it allows unauthorized file deletion, potentially leading to data loss or other security consequences.
