Summary

CVE-2023-4645 is a vulnerability affecting the Ad Inserter plugin for WordPress versions up to and including 2.7.30. The vulnerability, known as Sensitive Information Exposure, allows unauthenticated attackers to extract sensitive data such as post titles, slugs (including those of protected posts), passwords, usernames, available roles, and the plugin license key if remote debugging is enabled. This vulnerability poses a medium risk to organizations as it can lead to unauthorized access and potential data breaches. To remediate the issue, users should update their Ad Inserter plugin to a version that is not affected by the vulnerability.
