Summary

CVE-2023-46344 is a vulnerability found in Solar-Log Base 15 Firmware 6.0.1 Build 161, as well as other Solar-Log Base products. The vulnerability allows an attacker to exploit a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the switch group function in the web portal. By doing so, the attacker can escalate their privileges and gain the rights of an installer or PM. This can lead to administrative access to the web portal and enable further attacks. The vulnerability has a base severity of MEDIUM and requires low privileges and user interaction. It has an exploitability score of 2.3 and an impact score of 2.7, posing a potential danger to organizations using affected Solar-Log products.
