Summary

CVE-2023-46288 is a vulnerability that affects Apache Airflow versions 2.4.0 to 2.7.0. It allows authenticated users to access sensitive configuration information through the Airflow REST API, even when the expose_config option is set to non-sensitive-only. The expose_config option is False by default. To remediate this issue, it is recommended to upgrade to version 2.7.2, which resolves the vulnerability and also fixes CVE-2023-45348. The potential danger of this vulnerability is that it exposes sensitive information to unauthorized actors, posing a risk to the organization's confidentiality.
