Summary

CVE-2023-46282 is a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability that affects multiple products, including Opcenter Quality, SIMATIC PCS neo, SINEC NMS, SINUMERIK Integrate RunMyHMI / Automotive, and Totally Integrated Automation Portal (TIA Portal) versions 14 to 18. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by injecting arbitrary JavaScript code through the web interface of these applications. The injected code may be executed later by another user with potentially privileged access. This vulnerability has a base severity of MEDIUM and a CVSS score of 6.1. It requires user interaction and has low impact on integrity and confidentiality. It is recommended to update the affected applications to versions above V2312, V4.1, V2.0 SP1, V18 Update 3 respectively or apply any security patches provided by the vendors to remediate this issue and mitigate potential risks to organizations.
