Summary

CVE-2023-46256 is a critical vulnerability affecting PX4-Autopilot, a flight control solution for drones. Versions 1.14.0-rc1 and earlier are vulnerable to a heap buffer overflow in the parser function, which can lead to unexpected drone behavior. This vulnerability can be exploited by malicious applications even without a sensor malfunction, allowing the writing of large amounts of data to the heap memory area.
