Summary

CVE-2023-4614 is a critical vulnerability that allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on installations of LG LED Assistant. The vulnerability exists within the /api/installation/setThumbnailRc endpoint and is caused by the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied path. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability, posing a significant danger to affected organizations. The impact includes high integrity and confidentiality impacts, with an availability impact also being high.
