Summary
CVE-2023-46126 is a vulnerability affecting the Fides open-source privacy engineering platform. The vulnerability allows for the execution of JavaScript code when a privacy notice with a crafted payload in the privacy policy URL is served by an integrated website. The vulnerability can only be exploited by Admin UI users with the contributor role or higher. The issue has been patched in version 2.22.1 of Fides. This vulnerability poses a medium risk to organizations, with low privileges required and user interaction needed for exploitation, but with low impact on confidentiality and integrity and no impact on availability.
