Summary
CVE-2023-45866 is a vulnerability affecting Bluetooth HID Hosts in BlueZ. Unauthenticated Peripheral role HID Devices can initiate encrypted connections, potentially allowing HID message injection without user interaction or authorization in the Central role. This issue impacts BlueZ versions like 5.64-0ubuntu1 in Ubuntu 22.04LTS. A previous mitigation for CVE-2020-0556 may resolve this Bluetooth HID Hosts vulnerability in certain cases.
