Summary

CVE-2023-4551 is an Improper Input Validation vulnerability affecting OpenText AppBuilder on both Windows and Linux platforms. This issue lies in the Scheduler functionality, which enables the creation of scheduled tasks. The flaw allows authenticated users to inject arbitrary operating system commands into the executing process, leading to OS Command Injection. This vulnerability can potentially be exploited to execute malicious commands and gain unauthorized system access. OpenText AppBuilder versions from 21.2 to 23.1 are impacted by this issue.
