Summary
CVE-2023-45144 is a vulnerability that affects the com.xwiki.identity-oauth:identity-oauth-ui package, which is used to build identity and service providers based on OAuth authorizations. The vulnerability allows for cross-site scripting (XSS) and XWiki syntax injection when a user logs in via the OAuth method. This can lead to remote code execution through the groovy macro, compromising the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the entire XWiki installation. The issue has been fixed in Identity OAuth version 1.6, and users are advised to upgrade as there are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
