Summary
CVE-2023-45138 is a critical vulnerability found in Change Request, an application used for requesting changes on a wiki without directly publishing them. This vulnerability allows users without specific rights to perform script injection and remote code execution by inserting a specific title when creating a new Change Request. The affected versions are 0.11 to 1.9.2. The issue has been fixed in version 1.9.2, but it can also be worked around by editing the document "ChangeRequest.Code.ChangeRequestSheet" with the same changes as in the fix commit. This vulnerability poses a high danger to organizations as it can lead to unauthorized code execution and potential data breaches.
