Summary

CVE-2023-45043 is a vulnerability that affects several versions of the QNAP operating system. The vulnerability allows authenticated administrators to execute code via a network by exploiting a buffer copy without checking the size of input. To remediate this vulnerability, QNAP has released fixed versions of their operating systems, including QTS 5.1.4.2596 build 20231128 and later, and QuTS hero h5.1.4.2596 build 20231128 and later.
