Summary
CVE-2023-45028 is an uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability that puts several QNAP operating system versions at risk. Authenticated administrators could exploit this weakness to launch a denial-of-service (DoS) attack through a network connection. The affected versions include QTS 5.1.5.2645 and earlier, QuTS hero h5.1.5.2647 and earlier, and QuTScloud c5.1.5.2651 and earlier. QNAP has released patches to address this issue in versions 20240116 and later for QTS, 20240118 and later for QuTS hero, and 20250118 and later for QuTScloud.
