Summary
CVE-2023-4492 is a vulnerability affecting the Easy Address Book Web Server version 1.6. This issue lies in the handling of certain parameters, specifically firstname, homephone, lastname, middlename, workaddress, workcity, workcountry, workphone, workstate, and workzip, in the /addrbook.ghp file. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by injecting a JavaScript payload, which executes when the application is loaded, allowing unauthorized code execution and potential data theft or manipulation.
