Summary
CVE-2023-44827 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting ZenTao Community Edition version 18.6 and earlier, ZenTao Biz version 8.6 and earlier, and ZenTao Max version 4.7 and earlier. This issue enables attackers to execute arbitrary code by supplying a maliciously crafted script to the Office Conversion Settings function. By exploiting this vulnerability, an unauthorized user could gain complete control over impacted ZenTao installations, potentially leading to data theft, system damage, or further compromise. It is recommended that users of the affected ZenTao products upgrade to the latest available version as soon as possible to mitigate the risk of exploitation.
