Summary
CVE-2023-44812 is a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting mooSocial version 3.1.8. An attacker can exploit this issue by injecting malicious code into the admin_redirect_url parameter during a user login attempt. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to execute arbitrary scripts in the context of the targeted user, potentially leading to session hijacking or data theft. Users are advised to upgrade to the latest version of mooSocial or apply relevant patches to mitigate this risk.
