Summary
CVE-2023-44807 is a stack overflow vulnerability affecting the D-Link DIR-820L router with firmware version 1.05B03. The issue lies within the cancelPing function, which fails to properly manage input data, leading to a buffer overflow and potential memory corruption. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending maliciously crafted packets to the affected device, causing it to crash or allowing unauthorized access.
