Summary
CVE-2023-44400 is a vulnerability in Uptime Kuma, a self-hosted monitoring tool. Prior to version 1.23.3, attackers who have access to a user's device can gain persistent account access due to missing verification of Session Tokens after password changes or elapsed inactivity periods. The affected products include various versions of Uptime Kuma. The issue can be remediated by updating to version 1.23.3, which includes a patch for the vulnerability. This vulnerability poses a potential danger to organizations as attackers can gain unauthorized access and compromise the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information stored in the Uptime Kuma monitoring tool.
