Summary
CVE-2023-44388 is a vulnerability affecting Discourse, an open-source community discussion platform. Maliciously crafted requests can cause production log files to rapidly expand, potentially leading the server to run out of disk space. The issue has been addressed in Discourse versions 3.1.1 and 3.2.0.beta2. As a temporary workaround, administrators can reduce the `client_max_body_size nginx directive` to limit the size of uploads that can be directly submitted to the server.
