Summary
CVE-2023-44386 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting users of Vapor, an HTTP web framework for Swift. The issue lies in the framework's HTTP1 error handler, which closes connections when encountering parse errors instead of forwarding them. This flaw can be exploited to cause denial-of-service conditions, making the server unresponsive to legitimate requests. The vulnerability has been addressed in Vapor release 4.84.2.
