Summary

CVE-2023-44381 is a vulnerability affecting October CMS, a popular content management system. This issue allows authenticated backend users with specific permissions, such as `editor.cms_pages`, `editor.cms_layouts`, or `editor.cms_partials`, to bypass the `cms.safe_mode` setting and insert PHP code into CMS templates. This can lead to arbitrary code execution and potential security breaches. The vulnerability has been resolved in version 3.4.15.
