CVE-2023-44337

Summary

CVE-2023-44337 is a new out-of-bounds read vulnerability affecting Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 23.006.20360 and earlier, as well as 20.005.30524 and earlier. The issue arises when parsing a specially crafted file, leading to a read past the end of an allocated memory structure. An attacker can potentially exploit this vulnerability by executing code in the context of the current user. However, exploitation requires user interaction, meaning a victim must open a malicious file before an attacker can attempt an exploit.
