Summary
CVE-2023-44043 is a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the /install/index.php page in Black Cat CMS 1.4.1. Attackers can exploit this flaw by injecting malicious web scripts or HTML code into the Website title parameter, which will be executed in the context of the targeted user's browser upon viewing the compromised page. This can lead to unauthorized data access, session hijacking, or other forms of malicious activity. Users are strongly advised to update their Black Cat CMS installations to a patched version to mitigate this risk.
