Summary
CVE-2023-43868 is a newly identified buffer overflow vulnerability affecting the D-Link DIR-619L B1 2.02 router firmware. The issue arises due to a flaw in the websGetVar function, which can be exploited by an attacker to send maliciously crafted data and cause the buffer to overflow. Consequently, the router may become unresponsive, crash, or allow unauthorized access to its system.
