Summary
CVE-2023-43826 is a vulnerability affecting Apache Guacamole 1.5.3 and older versions. Malicious VNC servers can exploit this issue by sending specially-crafted data to cause integer overflow. This memory corruption vulnerability may allow arbitrary code execution with the privileges of the running guacd process. To mitigate this risk, users are advised to upgrade to the latest version, 1.5.4, which includes a fix for this issue.
