Summary

CVE-2023-43826 is a vulnerability affecting Apache Guacamole versions 1.5.3 and older. This vulnerability allows for integer overflow, potentially resulting in memory corruption and the execution of arbitrary code with the privileges of the guacd process. The vulnerability can be exploited if a user connects to a malicious or compromised VNC server. To remediate this issue, users are advised to upgrade to version 1.5.4 of Apache Guacamole.
