Summary
CVE-2023-43819 is a newly identified stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability affecting Delta Electronics' DOPSoft Industrial Automation software. The issue arises when processing the InitialMacroLen field in a DPS file. An attacker, without requiring authentication, can exploit this flaw by persuading a user into opening a maliciously crafted DPS file. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to remote code execution.
