Summary

The vulnerability with CVE ID CVE-2023-43802 affects the Arduino Create Agent package, specifically the `/upload` endpoint, which handles requests with the `filename` parameter. An attacker with the ability to perform HTTP requests to the localhost interface or bypass the CORS configuration can exploit this vulnerability to escalate their privileges to those of the user running the Arduino Create Agent service by crafting a malicious HTTP POST request. The issue has been addressed in version 1.3.3, and users are advised to upgrade to this version. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
