Summary

CVE-2023-43791 is a vulnerability that affects Label Studio, a multi-type data labeling and annotation tool. The vulnerability can be exploited in conjunction with the ORM Leak vulnerability to impersonate any account on Label Studio. This allows an attacker to escalate their privileges from a low privilege user to a Django Super Administrator user. The vulnerability affects versions before 1.8.2, and a patch has been introduced to remediate it. The potential danger of this vulnerability is that it could lead to unauthorized access and control over the Label Studio application, posing a significant risk to organizations using the affected versions.
