Summary
CVE-2023-4376 is a vulnerability affecting the Serial Codes Generator and Validator with WooCommerce Support plugin before version 2.4.15. This issue arises due to insufficient sanitization and escaping of certain plugin settings. Consequently, high privilege users, including admins, can execute stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks, bypassing the unfiltered_html capability restriction, even in multisite setups. This vulnerability poses a severe threat to WordPress sites utilizing the affected plugin, and prompt updating to the patched version is recommended.
