Summary

CVE-2023-43743 is a SQL injection vulnerability found in various Zultys products, including MX-SE, MX-SE II, MX-E, MX-Virtual, MX250, and MX30 with firmware versions prior to 17.0.10 patch 17161 and 16.04 patch 16109. An authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability by executing arbitrary SQL queries on the backend database through the filter parameter in requests to the /newapi/ endpoint in the Zultys MX web interface. The vulnerability has a base severity rating of HIGH (8.8) and poses a significant danger to organizations as it can lead to unauthorized access, data manipulation, and potential disclosure of sensitive information. To remediate this issue, affected organizations should update their Zultys products to firmware versions 17.0.10 patch 17161 or 16.04 patch 16109 or later.
