Summary
CVE-2023-43611 is a vulnerability affecting the BIG-IP Edge Client Installer on macOS. The installer fails to adhere to security best practices during privilege escalation, making it susceptible to potential attacks. This issue stems from an incomplete fix for a previous vulnerability, CVE-2023-38418. macOS versions past their End of Technical Support are not subject to evaluation for this issue.
