Summary

CVE-2023-43553 is a newly disclosed vulnerability that impacts the parsing of beacon/probe response frames in Access Points (APs). The issue results in memory corruption when an AP sends more supported links in the Multi-Link Interworking (MLIE) feature than anticipated. This flaw could potentially be exploited by an attacker to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service condition on the vulnerable device.
