Summary
CVE-2023-43502 is a cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the Jenkins Build Failure Analyzer Plugin version 2.4.1 and earlier. This issue enables attackers to delete Failure Causes with unauthorized privilege, potentially disrupting the Jenkins build process and leading to data loss. The vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation, allowing malicious requests to be processed and executed on behalf of the vulnerable user. Users are strongly advised to update their plugins to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
