Summary
CVE-2023-43498 is a vulnerability affecting Jenkins versions 2.423 and earlier, as well as LTS 2.414.1 and earlier. This issue arises from the MultipartFormDataParser, which creates temporary files in the default system temporary directory during file upload processing. The default permissions for new files grant potential attackers with access to the Jenkins controller file system the ability to read and write these files before they are utilized, posing a significant risk.
