Summary
CVE-2023-43453 is a new vulnerability affecting TOTOLINK X6000R routers running versions V9.4.0cu.652_B20230116 and V9.4.0cu.852_B20230719. This issue permits a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code by exploiting a vulnerability in the setDiagnosisCfg component. The IP parameter in this component is the entry point for the attack, enabling an assailant to inject malicious code and gain unauthorized access to the system. The consequences of this vulnerability could include data theft, unauthorized network access, and potentially even system takeover. Users of affected TOTOLINK routers are strongly advised to update their firmware as soon as possible to mitigate the risk.
