Summary
CVE-2023-4314 is a vulnerability affecting the wpDataTables plugin for WordPress before version 2.1.66. The issue lies in the plugin's failure to validate user-supplied "Serialized PHP array" data before deserialization. An attacker can exploit this flaw to deserialize arbitrary data, potentially leading to remote code execution. This poses a significant risk in multisite environments where admin users should not have the ability to execute arbitrary code.
